1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Your financial data — stored locally only

All data you enter into Monnetta One (budgets, transactions, categories, goals) is stored exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted to, collected by, or accessible to Monnetta Ltd. You are solely responsible for managing and backing up this data.

Information we do collect

(a) Anonymous Behavioral Analytics

To understand how the App is used and improve the user experience, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as:

  • Which features and screens are used
  • App session length and frequency
  • Device type and operating system version
  • Crash occurrences and error types (no personal data is included)

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you individually. You can opt out of behavioral analytics at any time in the App’s Settings.

(b) Contact Information

If you contact us for support or feedback (e.g., by email), we collect your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.

(c) Website Analytics

When you visit our website, we collect anonymous usage data (page visits, referral sources, device type) using Umami, a self-hosted, cookieless analytics platform. No personal data is collected and no cookies are used.

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment Data. The one-time purchase of Monnetta One is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. Monnetta Ltd. does not collect or have access to your payment information. Purchase validation is managed via RevenueCat, which receives a pseudonymous, device-level identifier from the App Store or Google Play to confirm your purchase status. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal data held by Monnetta Ltd.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We process only limited anonymous data to keep the App working well and to respond when you contact us.

  • To analyze app usage and improve features. We use anonymous behavioral analytics to understand which features are most valuable. You can opt out at any time in Settings.
  • To identify and fix technical issues. Anonymous crash reports and error logs help us resolve stability issues.
  • To respond to support inquiries. When you contact us, we use your contact information to respond to your message.
  • To understand website usage. Anonymous website analytics (Umami, self-hosted) help us improve the Monnetta One website.

We do not use any data for marketing profiling, targeted advertising, or any purpose other than those listed above.

In Short: We only process personal information when we have a valid legal reason to do so.

If you are located in the EU or UK, this section applies to you.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on:

  • Consent. We rely on your consent to collect behavioral analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time by disabling analytics in the App’s Settings.
  • Legitimate Interests. We may process anonymous crash report data based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a stable and functional application. This does not override your interests or fundamental rights.
  • Legal Obligations. We may process contact information where necessary to comply with applicable law.

If you are located in Canada, this section applies to you.

We may process your information if you have given us specific or implied consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by disabling analytics in Settings or by contacting us.

    • Apple App Store and Google Play — for distributing the App and processing one-time purchases.
    • RevenueCat — receives a pseudonymous, device-level identifier from Apple or Google to validate your purchase. No personal data from Monnetta Ltd. is shared.
  • Website Analytics
    • Umami (self-hosted — all data remains on our servers, nothing is shared with third parties)
  • Anonymous App Analytics
    • Our analytics provider processes anonymous, aggregated app usage data. No personal identifiers are included. You can opt out in Settings.
  • Anonymous Crash Reporting
    • Our crash reporting service receives anonymous error data (device type, OS version, error type). No personal identifiers are included.

We may also disclose information in the following situations:

  • Legal Requirements. We may disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business Transfers. In the event of a merger or acquisition, any data we hold may be transferred. We will notify users of any such material change.

5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

In Short: Our website uses a cookieless analytics tool. The App does not use cookies.

Website Analytics

We use Umami, a self-hosted, cookieless analytics platform to analyze anonymous usage data (e.g., page visits, referral sources). Umami:

  • Does not use cookies or track individuals
  • Collects only minimal, anonymous metrics
  • Stores all data on our own servers — nothing is shared with third parties

App Analytics

The Monnetta One app collects anonymous behavioral analytics as described in Section 1. This does not involve cookies or browser tracking. You can opt out at any time in Settings.

6. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?

In Short: Limited anonymous data may be processed on servers in the EU.

Our website servers are located in the EU. If you contact us for support, your message may be processed on EU-based servers. We take all appropriate measures to protect any data processed internationally, including compliance with GDPR requirements where applicable.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, we will protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law. Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided upon request.

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We retain information only as long as necessary.

  • Behavioral analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymous form. It cannot be linked back to you individually.
  • Contact and support messages: Retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, and no longer than 2 years.
  • Anonymous crash reports: Retained for up to 12 months for stability analysis.

Your financial data in the App is stored only on your device and is subject to your own management and deletion.

8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: Your financial data never leaves your device. We implement appropriate security measures for the limited data we do process.

The most important security feature of Monnetta One is that your financial data remains entirely on your device. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the limited anonymous data we process. However, no electronic transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

9. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under 18, please contact us at privacy@monnetta.app.

  • Request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information
  • Request rectification or erasure of your personal information

  • Data portability where applicable
