Cookie Policy
Last updated May 30, 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how Monnetta Ltd. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website at https://monnetta.app (“Website”). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control our use of them.
GDPR Compliance: We are committed to full GDPR compliance. No third-party tracking scripts, cookies, or pixels that collect personal data will load on our website until you provide explicit consent. Google Tag Manager uses Consent Mode v2 to block all tracking until you accept cookies. Microsoft Clarity only loads after you accept cookies through our consent banner. Our self-hosted Umami analytics is cookieless and privacy-friendly, loads immediately, and does not require consent as it does not collect or process personal data.
In some cases, cookies may collect or become associated with personal data. For details about how we process such data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Website owners widely use them to make websites function efficiently, provide reporting information, and enhance user experiences.
- First-party cookies are set by the website owner (Monnetta Ltd.).
- Third-party cookies are set by parties other than the website owner and may provide functionalities such as advertising, analytics, or social sharing.
Why do we use cookies?
We use first- and third-party cookies for several purposes:
- Essential cookies – Required for website functionality and to remember your cookie consent preference.
- Performance and analytics cookies – Used only with your consent. We use Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, and Umami to understand how users interact with our website and improve your experience. Note: Umami analytics is cookieless and privacy-friendly.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can do this by:
- Using the Cookie Consent Manager on our Website to manage your preferences.
- Adjusting your browser settings to reject or delete cookies.
- Opting out via third-party platforms (see links below).
Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are necessary for the Website to function properly.
What cookies do we use?
The exact cookies may vary, but we typically use or may use the following:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration | Requires Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
cookie-consent | Monnetta (First-party) | Remember your cookie consent preference | Essential | 1 year | No (essential) |
_ga, _ga_*, _gid, _gat | Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics | Track and analyze website usage and user behavior | Analytics | Up to 2 years | Yes |
_clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM | Microsoft Clarity | Analyze user behavior through session recordings and heatmaps (only loads after consent) | Analytics | Up to 1 year | Yes |
Note: The actual cookies served may vary depending on the user’s location and consent status.
Privacy-First Analytics
We use a combination of analytics tools to understand and improve user experience:
- Umami (Self-hosted): Our website analytics are processed on our own servers and are not shared with third parties. Umami is cookieless and does not track personal data, so it loads immediately without requiring consent under GDPR. Unlike traditional analytics services, your browsing data remains private and under our direct control.
- Google Tag Manager: Loads immediately but uses Consent Mode v2 to block all tracking tags until you provide consent. We use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy analytics and marketing tags. The GTM container itself does not collect data, but it controls when Google Analytics and other tracking tools can activate. All GTM tags remain blocked until you explicitly accept cookies. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Clarity: Only loads after you provide consent. We use Clarity to understand how users interact with our website through session recordings and heatmaps. This helps us identify usability issues and improve your experience. Clarity collects behavioral data such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling patterns. Microsoft Clarity does not load any scripts or set any cookies until you explicitly accept cookies. For more information, see Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
How can I control cookies through my browser?
Browser settings allow you to accept or reject cookies. For more details:
Additional Opt-Out Options
To manage interest-based advertising preferences, you may also use:
- Digital Advertising Alliance
- Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance
Other Tracking Technologies
We may also use technologies like web beacons, pixels, and local shared objects (Flash cookies) to gather data on user interactions, measure email effectiveness, or deliver ads. These tools often depend on cookies, so rejecting cookies may impact their functionality.
Do you use Flash cookies or local storage?
Some services may use Flash cookies or HTML5 local storage. You can manage Flash cookies through the Adobe Website Storage Settings Panel.
